Old-school music meets high school motivation.
The brainchild of rough-and-tumble San Pedrans Gino di Leva and Domenico Pilato, Dr.Iven is an old-school rock band that aims to deliver positive messages to underprivileged youth. The band tours schools, colleges and other public venues across the United States and delivers motivational speeches between dynamic sets of heart-pumping rock music.
Confidence. Pursuing your dreams. Body image. These were just a few of the images I familiarized myself with in order to connect with students in our audiences who were, at times, only a few years younger than myself.
Although my time in the band is long over, I love my former bandmates like brothers. Dr.Iven gave me my first serious opportunity as a touring musician, and for that I am ever grateful!
